At Holme Community School we want our children to acquire a deep knowledge and understanding of different faiths so that children develop tolerance through understanding. This will be achieved through story, music, dance, art and observance of religious festivals. In RE lessons, children will learn about different faiths, and identify lessons that we can learn from different faiths whilst reflecting on their own beliefs and values.
Withdrawal from RE:
Parents have the right to withdraw their children from all or part of RE and/or collective worship. Parents should write to the headteacher to request withdrawal.
