We are actively involved in school improvement and initial teacher training with Ripley ITT based in Lancaster. Mr Dewar-Willox sits on the Executive Steering Group which delivers initial teacher training for future primary school teachers and many of our staff are involved in delivering training and mentoring trainees. Holme Community School is an active member of the Milnthorpe Consortium of schools. This group of over 18 schools provides mutual support, staff development, moderation and shares resources to support the achievement of all schools and pupils.
